WiSER - Women in Science and European Research
to be held online on 4th December 2020.
The keynote speech will be delivered by Mrs. Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, followed by two panel discussions.

The main objective of the WiSER is to bring together decision makers, mainly representatives of the European Union institutions, and practitioners representing universities, research institutes and various stakeholder organisations to discuss opportunities and challenges in implementing gender-balanced policy in academia and research culture. A particular attention will be paid to current policies and instruments, like recent developments relating to the ERA and the forthcoming Horizon Europe. Also, expect to see a glimpse into the best practices fostering an institutional change in terms of strengthening the gender equality in European science and research.
The event is opened to everyone interested in gender-equality issues in the EU policy related to the research and innovation. Number of attendees is limited and only registered participants will be provided with all connection details prior to the event. The registration deadline is 30th November 2020.
